Despite the new additions, the general spirit of Hexen II is kept intact. There's even a conversation system, although currently you have to find a secret area to see this in action. The maps are varied, clever and creative, packed with secrets, puzzles and lore. Snowy mountains, ice, lavish temples and some grand, peculiar machinery await discovery, as do some modified creatures and artifacts to change things up.
